Our website is audited on a bi-annual basis, checking for non-functioning links, misspellings, grammatical errors, and content accuracy. The primary objective of IJOHMN is to provide an online open-access platform for researchers, scholars, and academics across the globe. Our mission is to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge and foster scholarly discussions within the domains of English Language, English Literature, and Linguistics.

Policy on Redundant Publication

Authors must adhere to the policy that the submitted work is not under consideration or published in any other journal simultaneously. Submitting the same research work in multiple journals is considered redundant publication or salami publication, and it is strictly discouraged.

IJOHMN’s data is preserved in below achieved organisations:

PKP PN

IJOHMN is preserving published manuscripts with PKP PN ensuring that the content will be secure and available into the future. PKP PN functions as a “dark archive”. PKP has developed the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve OJS journals. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, seamless perpetual access, and preservation of the authentic original version of the content.

5. Copyright 

When a manuscript is published in the journal, the author(s) retain the copyright of their original work while granting publication rights to the publisher. The author (s) may republish the article as part of a book or other materials.

Starting in January 2023, the copyright holder's name is now prominently displayed in both the PDF and HTML versions of each article. Previously, this information was only included in the HTML version. This update ensures that copyright details are easily accessible in all formats, enhancing the convenience for readers and users. Specifically, a copyright statement is now featured in the header of the first page within the full-text PDF of each article.

Ethical Use of Images and Copyright Compliance

At IJOHMN, we uphold the highest ethical and legal standards for the content we publish. We encourage authors to adhere to the following guidelines regarding the use of images:

  1. Use Original or Copyright-Compliant Images: Authors are strongly encouraged to use original images or images for which they have obtained the necessary permissions and licenses. This ensures compliance with copyright regulations.
  2. Consider Royalty-Free Images: If cost is a concern, authors should consider using royalty-free images, which can be a viable option for obtaining high-quality visuals without copyright restrictions.
  3. Avoid Plagiarism and Copyright Issues: All materials, including text, images, data, and tables, must be free of plagiarism and any copyright issues. Authors are responsible for ensuring that they have the right to use all content included in their manuscripts.
  4. Avoid Infringing Material: We strongly advise against using infringing material, as this may lead to legal consequences in the future. Copyright concerns typically arise when copyrighted content is used without proper permission or citation.
  5. Seek Permission for Copyrighted Content: Authors should refrain from using copyrighted content without the appropriate permissions from the copyright holders.
  6. Use of Reputable Sources for Images: Authors are strongly encouraged to obtain images from reputable sources that provide copyright-free or properly licensed images for their manuscripts. While the following two sources are recommended, authors may explore other websites as well to find suitable images:

14. Revenue sources

International Journal Online of Humanities (IJOHMN) is published by SMART MOVES publication incorporated and operating in the city of Bhopal (state- M.P.), India (country).

IJOHMN is an Open Access journal and we do not receive any grant from any organization, hence we ask our authors to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC). All revenues are generated from author fees. APC covers the expense of the administrative cost, the peer review process, publication processes, online publication, hosting of the website, online security (virus attack), etc. An author will be asked to pay the publication fee along with the acceptance letter.

Authors paying fees do not mean that the process would be curtailed short or they can get their publication fast.  IJOHMN does not compromise with its quality standards.  We do not accept any fee unless a manuscript meets its set benchmarks or standards.  This fee is charged to meet the publication expense requirements.

Advertising for other organizations is not permitted on the IJOHMN website. However, information about our publishers, SMART MOVRS, and their other publication activities such as journals, conferences, and books may be featured on our platform.
