This manuscript investigates the sociolinguistic and pragmatic dynamics of Hindi-English code-mixing ("Hinglish") across digital communication platforms used by Indian youth. In multilingual societies like India, code-mixing serves as a normative, rule-governed mode of expression rather than an accidental divergence from standard linguistic structures. Through a qualitative analysis of syntactic configurations, intra-sentential alterations, and contextual pragmatics in social media discourse, this study examines how young speakers construct digital identities, articulate emotional nuances, and establish in-group solidarity. The findings highlight how Romanized script, functional borrowing, and matrix language frameworks govern user-generated interactions online, illustrating an adaptive bilingual competence within modern digital media.
